It was recently reported that a 65-year-old slots player from Florida nabbed a $2,029,595 jackpot playing a quarter slot machine at the Seminole Casino Coconut Creek. The lucky player, who asked to remain anonymous, was playing a progressive slot machine tied to similar gaming devices nationwide.
The amazing jackpot is considered to be a new Florida record for a slot machine payout. The previous record of $1.1 million was set by a player at the very same gaming venue. Casino General Manager Steve Bonner was reported as saying that this was by far Florida's largest slots jackpot ever.
